Walking is a great way to improve or maintain your overall health. Just 30 minutes every day can increase cardiovascular fitness, strengthen bones, reduce excess body fat, and boost muscle power and endurance. It can also reduce your risk of developing conditions such as heart disease, diabetes and some cancers. Unlike some other forms of exercise, walking is free and doesn’t require any special equipment or training.
Adapting to a fitter lifestyle can start at any time without a grand gesture, equipment or robust planning. One of the easiest and quickest way to give one’s life a healthy spin is daily walking, and tapping into that latent interest in people. Give your fitness wardrobe the right impetus to come out of a sedentary life and adapt a healthier routine.
Walking is low impact, requires minimal equipment, can be done at any time of day and can be performed at your own pace. You can get out and walk without worrying about the risks associated with some more vigorous forms of exercise. Walking is also a great form of physical activity for people who are overweight, elderly, or who haven’t exercised in a long time.
Most of the sports brands have a walking range, backed by superior quality, comfort and technology, which is set to become the walking buddy for every new user, and I could not have been prouder of my association with Reebok, as I feel the new products will have the potential to bring fitness to every household.
Some tips and tricks which can make walking more enjoyable can be:
Choose the right gear (clothes and shoes) which make you feel the most comfortable
Choose to wake up early in the morning and go for a walk since it will make you feel fresh and energetic
Put on your earphones and listen to your favourite music while walking.
