Ambience:
South India’s Love for Asian cuisine is undeniable. While we have always loved noodles and dimsums. Pa Pa Ya, a modern Asian bistro with a divergent menu of Thai, Chinese and Asian makes us all fall in love with it. The ambience boasts of aesthetic interiors with Japanese architecture and Indian design. It also has a separate open counter for Sushi, so you can enjoy seeing how your sushi is made right in front of you.

Food:
We ordered all the signature dishes on the menu. We started off with a scrumptious thick texture of Laksa chicken Soup. Our stomach started rumbling as we watched the soup ladled into a white glass bowl. Next up was the Edamame & Avocado, Thai Chilli Coriander Dressing Salad which was fresh and crunchy. There were two types of Sushi Maki rolls which were served. The Spicy Prawn Tempura was a handmade drop of mouthful Sushi rice and Boston roll rolled in with Crab, Salmon, Avocado and Cucumber, that melted in our mouths.

While we were gobbling it up, we were served some Chicken Gyoza and Har Gao Green Curry Prawn Farce made with chunks of prawn encased in a thin translucent dumpling wrapper soaked in freshly made green curry. It was indeed enjoyable. Wherever we go, a small part of us craves for something south Indian. Here it came with a twist, the parotta was neatly cut into a triangle shape and was very crispy and topped with their Signature Lamb Rendang Curry. The meat was like cotton balls that melted in our mouths. The Khao Pad Kar Pao, holy basil fried rice was an aromatic rice dish made with fresh Thai Basil. We paired it with Asian Stir-Fried vegetables. This fried rice is a must-try for any Thai food lover.

All the sweet tooth lovers can relish the Aerated Chocolate, JD Cake and Chocolate Ball on Fire, a decadent treat which was royally luxurious. This place will leave you with lingering flavours and fond memories.
