How would you define yourself?
I think I would define myself as an ambitious and driven person. I could be a calm white fluffy cloud but it won’t take me long enough to churn up some tension and then shower it down with love and abundance.
The first thing you do when you wake up?
Making my bed, because it reinforces the fact that little things in life matter… also, you have accomplished the first task of the day and so you start your day with an accomplishment.
The last thing you do before you sleep?
Before I shut my system down and I mean my body, I make sure I’m set for the next day. I thank god for having given me the perfect day. I look at the bright side and take in all the learnings from the day and plan how best I can conquer the day to come.
Your perfect holiday destination?
I love exploring… but I’d probably have the answer to this question in a couple of years.
If you were chilling all alone, you would?
I’d love it and fully enjoy it! I mean who gets the luxury to just chill these days? If it were to actually happen, I’d love nothing more than to be a shameless sloth for the rest of the day!
Brands you swear by?
Comfort is my only mantra… I like to put looks together… I believe that fashion is not specific.
Your definition of fun?
Taking the untouched trail and exploring places with my partner/friends. Spending quality time with family is everything.
What can we see you next in?
You can see me in Yen Peyar Anandhan, Naan Avalai Sandhitha Podhu, Pancharaaksharam, Meendum Vaa Arugil Vaa, Traas, Dhwaram, Oram Po Oozhal Varudhu, OMG and my upcoming web series’ Cutout for VIU and Kurudhi Kalamm
for ZEE5.
Your take away from the movie ‘Mr. Chandramouli’?
This movie gave me a chance to showcase my versatility. It helped me study different roles and work towards being a better actor.
Your opinion on how women are portrayed in movies, now?
I love how women are driving change and drawing audiences to theaters. The myth around a heroine’s star power, shelf life and her ability to bring in business has now been wonderfully challenged. In short, women are getting to play the roof-shattering roles they’ve always wanted to.
