How would you define yourself?
I think the one word that defines me the best is: fighter. Nothing has ever come easy to me and so I have learned to fight for what I want. It’s always a struggle, and I am always fighting to get what I want.

First thing you do when you wake up?
Like every millennial, I cannot fully wake up without checking my phone. What might make me slightly different is my habit of checking what meetings or plans I have for the day — I have major #FOMO. I love reading inspirational messages in the morning too. So, I’m one of those girls who isn’t irritated by those forwards.

Last thing you do before you sleep?
As I said earlier, I’m a total millennial and so I actually watch motivational and inspirational videos till my eyes refuse to stay open.

Your perfect holiday destination:
Being a pure-bred South Tamil Nadu girl, nothing quite impresses me like my own ooru. I love Kuttralam and considering we have a private property there, I have even more reason to visit. If I had to choose something outside India, Thailand is always my first choice — so much culture and I love how proud they are of their country.

If you were chilling all alone, you would?
Introspect. It’s the only sure shot way to self-realisation. It helps us discover our true strengths and weaknesses, and the loneliness also helps you think about it objectively. It’s something I encourage people to do: be alone with yourself sometimes — it heals you.

Brands you swear by?
Brands mean nothing to me. If I see something and like it, I’ll buy it and wear it — who really cares about the brand?

Your definition of fun:
Being in the moment… doing whatever you can right then… and if you can’t, then dance — I love dancing. It’s the epitome of fun for me.

What can we see you next IN?
I haven’t signed anything yet, but something is definitely around the corner.

Your take away from Joker:
I have been told I performed well in that movie and so I need to live up to that now.

What do you define as #GirlPower?
The perfect state of happiness for a girl: emotional and financial independence.
