Chef Peter Tseng has introduced the laudable concept of simplicity, sustainability and locally sourced ingredients. The ‘Farm-to-Table’ Sunday menu celebrates this. We began our meal with a healthy starter, the Berry Burrata Salad, a star among their salads that comprises mixed berries, veggies, granola and more, tossed up with mustard honey. Next, the Mex Bowl – a hearty dish with tofu and veggies, a balanced meal that met the taste benchmarks too. Topping our favourites is their Signature Anglo Indian Chicken Roast, a medley of rich flavours made with shallots and herbs featuring juicy, succulent pieces of chicken served with bread. An uncommon dish that’s a must-try. Their Signature Herb Butter Grilled Bay Prawns comprise tiger prawns, floating in a creamy polenta with chilli oil, a filling dish that’s a meal in itself.
The NY Deli Style Chicken Sandwich is an enticing croissant, featuring pulled chicken and deliciously filling. This is a must-try too. Don’t miss their unique Coconut Coffee which is a big hit as it introduces the flavour of coconut into the coffee, in a subtle manner that’s not overpowering. Their smoothies are quite popular too; the fresh Berry Smoothie was bursting with flavour.
We finished with the smooth Caramel Custard that came topped with nuts… completely vegan, making it light and smooth. The rich and wicked Tiramisu was another pleaser that’s not to be missed.
The updated menu includes hearty and comforting classics such as the Shepherd’s Pie and the rich Lamb Ragu Tortellini and creative innovations like the Roasted Pumpkin Gnocchi. The extensive range of pasta from Lasagna to Ravioli gives pasta lovers a lot to look forward to. Expect something extraordinary for every palate.
