How has motherhood influenced your approach to your work as a business owner and influencer?
Motherhood has taught me to be a better person, to be kinder, and to appreciate the little things. It has helped me understand people better and their problems too.
Balancing career and family can be challenging. Can you share some strategies or routines that have helped you maintain harmony between your professional and personal life?
Balancing work and family hasn’t been easy. It’s been a tough struggle, but I’ve managed with the support of my family. I primarily work during school hours. I opted to work alongside my child to spend more time together and teach him while exploring various places. It’s all about taking things as they come, and I’ve learned to manage through lots of practice.
As an influencer, how do you decide what aspects of your personal life, including your experiences as a mother, to share with your audience?
It’s important not to let social media dictate our personal lives entirely. For mom influencers, creating content with kids is a real challenge and requires a lot of hard work. Balancing home, family, and work is no easy feat. Let’s refrain from passing judgment, as the real struggle lies behind the scenes, in the challenges we face every day.
How do you prioritise self-care and maintain your own well-being while juggling the responsibilities of motherhood, entrepreneurship, and being an influencer?
Self-care is something I’ve neglected in the past. I haven’t been good at it, to be honest. But I’ve come to realize its importance. I’ve started taking small steps towards self-care, like going on short trips, meeting friends, and watching movies. It’s crucial for moms like us to take time for ourselves, so we don’t get overwhelmed by work and responsibilities.
For moms who aspire to become influencers while balancing their roles as parents, what advice or encouragement would you offer based on your own experiences navigating both spheres successfully?
Work builds confidence and resilience, even when it gets tough. Remember, challenges and judgments are inevitable, but don’t let them discourage you. Stay strong and bold, and keep pushing forward.
