What is your fitness regime?
The fact that I have to wake up everyday and be better at my work every single day keeps me motivated. I feel I’m in a line of work where I need to constantly be on the top of my game, which requires not just looking good but also staying physically, mentally and emotionally stable. That can happen only if I’m fit. Yoga gives me sense of calm, analyse things on a daily basis, and declutter my life. Fitness for everyone has a different interpretation. I’m not training to be a state level athlete. I just want my body and mind to function at an optimum level.

What is your skincare regime?
Water therapy, ghee and sleep on time.

Any quick DIY beauty hacks?
I like to make most of my beauty packs at home, using kitchen ingredients, nothing exorbitant or expensive or something that I have to go to the Amazon forest to find. Simple home remedies are the best for a quick glow.

What do you think about all the skin treatments that are available these days?
I also periodically and regularly use these skin treatments and swear by some of them. It has to be a mix of both internal and external wellness. What you eat, how you sleep, the treatments that you take are all helpful, as they help in longevity of your skin and boost your collagen levels. I genuinely feel that these are an important part of your routine. The good thing about these treatments is that you put your phone away, unwind, get pampered and end up looking great.

Why do you think it’s important to make these treatments accessible to women today?
A lot of my endeavours are highly women centric. My first business Label Life was a female driven e-commerce business and then I went on to do Yoga Life which was again a woman driven business. I’ve grown up in a family which was highly matriarchal. I think women are the force and drive everything around us. Women are able to balance work and home life better so it’s great to have spaces where women can come and take care of themselves as we often tend to neglect ourselves. Women should not feel that these treatments are very cosmetic, they should be a part of our life.

How does Bio Revive resonate with your ethos?
It’s great to see a place like this in Chennai. I personally believe in a lot of treatments at Bio Revive as they are very helpful.

Is wellness a luxury?
We should not look at it like that. It’s a necessity in today’s day and age so it’s important that body and mind are aligned. World over it’s the fastest growing segment, so it is very crucial that everyone takes it seriously.
